I have extensive experience in running groups, including groups for adolescents, victims of severe trauma, and support groups for parents. Group psychotherapy can be a powerful tool in helping people to feel supported and become more connected to others. Whether it is at the workplace, school, or in our families, much of our life is spent in groups. Group therapy offers a unique testing ground, where issues or problematic patterns that come up in everyday life can be processed and understood in a safe way that helps people grow. Often, people learn as much from supporting and connecting with other members, as they do from being supported themselves. Group psychotherapy is also a more affordable option than individual therapy.
