I originally came to New York to pursue a career in the arts.  Soon after, I realized that connecting and helping others was my true passion in life, which brought me into the field of mental health treatment.  I am a graduate of the Silver School of Social Work, as well as the four year training program in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center, where I currently teach various classes and organize colloquium events for the community.  In my practice, I specialize in trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, parenting, and substance abuse.  Prior to private practice, I worked in a school setting with adolescents, a family clinic which provided couples and family therapy, and a program that provided individual, group, and couple’s therapy to Holocaust Survivors.
